IE Library would like to underscore the fact that over the course of recent years, in light of numerous factors such as the advance of new technologies, the consequent information explosion, and the growing demand for information on the part its users. It understands the term library, now more than ever before, to refer to a system composed of a range of dynamically interacting elements, working towards a common goal. It sees itself as an organization that justifies its own existence through the results it obtains, results that are quantifiable in terms of quality.
