M.B.A. Honoris Causa to Craig R. Barrett

On June 15, 2004, Craig R. Barrett receives the title of Honorary M.B.A. for his career at Intel, where he had been Chief Executive Officer since 1998. Barrett had previously obtained a post doctoral scholarship from NATO to do research at the UK’s National Physical Laboratory, and went on to join Intel in 1974 as Director of Technology Development. In 1992 he became a member of the board and went on to become president of the company in 1997.
