During the period 2007-2008, IE Business School embarked on another new venture, with the inauguration of IE University. Consequently, the library began the process of managing the needs of the two centers, the existing library on the Madrid campus, and the new one on the Segovia campus. Due to the increased points of access to the service, and the addition of undergraduates, the number of potential users rose by approximately 50%. Generally speaking, users fell into one of the following categories: students; professors; administrative and other employees; alumni; Career Management Department; and the Benchmarking Club (human resources).
