On September 23, 2003, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, creators of Google, receive the title of Honorary M.B.A. for embodying the entrepreneurial spirit and lending momentum to the creation of new businesses. Brin and Page met at Stanford, where they set up Google Inc. in 1998. They currently continue to oversee day-to-day operations of the company.
