On March 26, 1998, Jacques Santer receives the title of Honorary M.B.A. for his work in politics. Born in Luxembourg, Santer became President of the country’s government in 1984 and was Prime Minister until 1995. He has also held positions that include Governor of the World Bank, President of the European Popular Party, Governor of the International Monetary Fund, and President of the European Council.
